Suffer From Hearing Loss or Tinnitus, Your Phone Might Help

If you suffer from hearing loss, tinnitus or even a sound sensitivity condition like I do, your phone might help. Here are the steps you'll need to take to setup your phone to your own personal hearing needs.

MANAGE PHONE SETTINGS

Go to your phone SETTINGS .
Next, click on SOUNDS and VIBRATIONS.
Scroll down the list to ADVANCED.
Click on SOUND QUALITY and EFFECTS.
Scroll down to where you see ADAPT SOUND.

You'll take a quick test for BOTH ears, and your phone will adjust to your hearing level and comfort zone. Most phones will show an image on how much of a change is made from the normal settings.

IN this EXAMPLE image. You can see the changes made and how each ear differs.

I hope you find this information helpful.

It will be 4 years in April of 2017, since I was diagnosed with severe Hyperacusis, severe Tinnitus, and Directional Hearing Issues. In my next article, I'll talk about what has helped me most over the years. So be sure to follow, share.
