I Have An Invisible Disability

Hello everyone.. went into work with the ear plugs today... a lot of people forget about my hearing issues because I go through my day like a normal person would... I'm not one who sits around... I'm a pretty productive person... today while I was working one of the supervisor was messing with a jar of clear stones... I tried to ignore it but the sound hurt so much... one of the other workers tried to ask him to stop but he still did it.. joking around..

 

It got to the point I couldn't take it any more and I burst out,' For the love of god .....' He then stopped realizing what was happening... I know he didn't mean to cause me pain but it really is hard for people to see me as a person with a disability. It's easy to forget when I'm so active at work.. and even train people. Thank god today is over...
